Gates at Queen's Gate II to Remain open due to High-Wind Event

Please be advised that the gates at the Queens Gate II entrance and exit will be locked in the open position during this weekend's forecasted HIGH WIND ADVISORY. This wind event, with wind gusts expected to reach up to 55 MPH, is expected to last from Friday, January 4 through Monday, January 7, 2013. Locking the gates in the open position helps minimize damage to the gates and their operating mechanisms, which can be costly to repair.
We remind you to be alert and suspicious of unknown individuals or vehicles within our community. Do not approach, and immediately report any suspicious activity to the Honolulu Police Depart by calling 911.
